Helios Colour
Training Programme
offers the
following courses, accredited through the National Open College
NetworkSW at Truro College, Cornwall, UK. Each module recognises a
holistic approach to healing and contains a large element of practical
exercises, discussion and individual presentations aim to enhance the
under pinning knowledge acquired on the course.

HELIOS
INTRODUCTION TO COLOUR HEALING
– 3 credits at Level 1
This module
aims to introduce students to healing colours and the many different
aspects of colour in our daily life. It will be taught in a relaxed
and friendly atmosphere. Assessment will be through a personal
portfolio on the course and a short assessment on colour.

HELIOS
PERSONAL COLOUR CONSULTANCY
– 6 credits at Level 2
This module
aims to investigate and teach the practice of Colour Consultancy. The
colours we are drawn to, or dislike are indicative of our feelings and
consciousness. Each colour tells a story, our story. Assessment will be
through a personal portfolio on the course including own evaluation of
the system and three case studies.

DIPLOMA IN COLOUR, LIGHT & VIBRATIONAL HEALING
– 36 credits
at Level 3 –

The Diploma
Programme aims to teach in depth the therapeutic use of colour and light
therapy to enhance the expertise needed in the field of holistic
studies. It is in two parts. The first part provides the under pinning
knowledge for colour and light therapy through the following modules:
Colour Healing, Subtle Energy, Psychology of Colour, Subtle Anatomy,
Light Therapy, Treatment Practice, Communication Skills for
Practitioners and Anatomy & Physiology Part I & II.
The second
part consolidates this knowledge through best practice and supervised
case studies. It includes Consultations and Practice Management, First
Aid in the workplace and Supervision of 10 full Case Studies to meet
with current practice in the field of Holistic Medicine.
All
Helios Colour Training modules follow guidelines set down by the
Institute for Complementary Medicine, the International Association of
Colour and the Open College Network. Moderation is both internal and
external. The modules are arranged in units of specific areas of study
to identify the competence and skills that are needed for today’s
practitioners. Some units may be taken independently to ‘top up’
already qualified Practitioners of other disciplines. Assessment for
each module will be through a personal portfolio of course notes
including A Helios colour Training Programme Certificate is also
available on satisfactory completion of each part of the programme, as
well as the NOCN SW Certificate.
Helios offers
in addition to the above a ‘one to one’ tailor made therapy using
Counselling and Light Therapy, a Personal Development Programme,
Relaxation Techniques, a Meditation CD, and Workshops on Counselling,
Colour and Light are available on request.
